U.S. Representative Bill Flores (R-Texas) released the following statement regarding President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2016 Budget Proposal:
"President Obama has repeatedly shown that he cares more about partisan politics than proven solutions to help hardworking taxpayers and families. The fact is Americans are making less and paying more as a result of President Obama's failed policies. Now, he is proposing more big government programs, another huge job-killing tax hike and $2.4 trillion in new spending, including what is essentially a retread of his unsuccessful 2009 stimulus. These programs will not spur the economic growth and vitality America needs, they will only further mortgage away the next generation's economic future. Congress will reject the president’s failed policies, and instead propose proven solutions that grow America’s economy instead of Washington’s bureaucracy and a balanced budget to protect our families’ fiscal futures."
