President Barack Obama announced the resignation of Steven Miller, acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service on Wednesday.
Several Texans reacted on social media to the news, some saying this isn’t the end of the conversation on the IRS’s admitted scrutiny of Tea Party organizations seeking tax exemption status.
Rep. Bill Flores said on Facebook that Miller’s resignation isn’t enough “to put to rest the concerns abou tthe IRS targeting of Americans by political ideology.”
“We must understand the entire scope of the operation to ensure accountability for those responsible.
